Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d)

Smooth-running plants start with precise hands

Wolfram Industrie is the specialist in the development and manufacture of tungsten-based products. Our international customers need well-thought-out solutions for complex requirements. They particularly value our commitment to consistently high quality and on-time delivery. The foundation for this is our own machinery and plants, which have to run reliably day after day.

To keep it that way, we are looking immediately for an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) to join our maintenance team full-time at our Nußdorf location on a permanent basis.

Your Responsibilities

Servicing and maintenance: You will be responsible for the preventive maintenance, servicing and modification of our production plants and building services. When faults occur, you will carry out repairs on all operating equipment, ensuring that our machinery and plants remain available.

Troubleshooting and repair: When something isn’t running smoothly, you will track down the cause and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components. You will also set up production machines professionally.

Manufacturing spare and special parts: Using turning, milling, grinding and welding, you will make spare parts, operating equipment and fixtures for production. Samples and special parts are also made in your workshop.

Optimisation and knowledge sharing: You will identify technical weak points, develop solutions and implement improvements to our plants and building services. You will explain new tools and fixtures to your colleagues so that everyone can work with them safely.

Your Expertise

To keep our plants running reliably and production going without interruption, we rely on your craftsmanship, your technical understanding and your meticulous way of working. We look forward to your skills in these areas:

A completed apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, toolmaker or in a comparable trade.

Several years of professional experience and hands-on experience in carrying out maintenance work.

Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.

A careful and independent way of working, as well as a clean and tidy workplace.

You enjoy working in a team, have good social skills and are keen to contribute new ideas so that our plants and processes keep evolving.

“Reliable production starts with precise hands. With your technical know-how and commitment, you ensure that our machinery, plants and building services are ready for operation at all times.”

Your Benefits

Job security: More than 115 years of company history and market leadership on the international market are testament to a secure future at Wolfram Industrie.

Thorough onboarding: Experienced colleagues will take the time to familiarise you with our plants and processes.

Personal development: Once you have settled in, we will support your professional development if you wish. Training courses and further education will help you expand your knowledge of maintenance and plant engineering.

Varied tasks: From servicing and troubleshooting to manufacturing special parts, no two days are the same here.

Additional benefits: We offer comprehensive health services, mobility subsidies and many other perks such as EGYM Wellpass, JobRad, private supplementary health insurance and subsidies for childcare and retirement planning.
